Injury Update

Quick injury update.

Garick Gray required 8 stitches for the cut to his forehead on the hit to the head he received from Virden's Chase Wichellmann on Wednesday. Gray also sustained a concussion and will be out for a number of weeks.

As we all know now head injuries are fairly temperamental so there's no word on when he will be back. Could be a month, could be more, the best thing for Garick to do now is stay home, rest and just wait.

It's a substantial loss to the Blizzard, just as it seemed that they were going to be playing with a full roster shortly.

Garick leads the Blizzard in goals with 15 and was on a real tear of late as he was tied for the league lead in goals when he was knocked out.

As for Thomas Ward-Cardinal he could be back this weekend depending on how things go in practice this week. If not this weekend it will be very, very soon.
