Tyler Grove is being recognized for his strong work of late.
Here's the release from the MJHL site:
Tyler Grove of the OCN Blizzard has been named the MJHL Player of the Week, ending November 18.
The veteran forward recorded nine points (6-3) over a four game span
for the Blizzard who sit first in the Sher-Wood Division. Grove, 19,
hails from Selkirk.
The runners up are 20 year old goaltender Landon Noel of the Swan
Valley Stampeders and 16 year old goaltender Ty Edmonds of the Virden
Oil Capitals.
Way to go Tyler! So nice to see all these guys contribute to our team. It's going to be a great season for the team. Go Blizz go.
ReplyDeleteHe's certainly very deserving, he's worked hard all season!
DeleteI love watching games in Selkirk where the Tyler Grove Fan Club from Selkirk cheers for every move he makes. Must be all his friends from High School. I suspect the Steelers are not that happy.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I wasn't there for the game this weekend but the first time we made that trip in the first month of the season Grove had about 15-20 people up on the boards next to the Blizzard bench cheering him on. A very cool sight indeed, must be special for him.
DeleteI wouldn't say the Steelers aren't happy, I think the trade has worked out well for both teams.
Grove hasn't seen another goal streak like that since they changed the line-up! Good luck to Grove and let's see who will work hard to feed you your points.
