Blizzard 5 - Waywayseecappo 4 SO

The Blizzard win a tough one, not anywhere close to pretty.

The Blizzard blew a 2 goal lead in the dying minutes of the game with the tying mark with under a minute left.

OCN controlled the play for the whole game with a heavy lead in shots on goal for the majority of the game but at times the defence looked completely lost again on home ice.

Garick Gray had two goals, Tyler Grove two assists and Nathan Bruyere scored the shootout winner.

It's two points, but the Blizzard needlessly gave up a point to a team in the division.

Full recap tomorrow.

Enjoy your Friday!

  1. So the question is are we now in need of looking for a solid D man with TWC injured? I'm anticipating a lengthy injury from last nights game. A break heals faster then a tear does it not?

  2. I don't think they will need to, he's out 2-3 weeks with an ankle sprain. Lucky his ankle gave out first (apparently he has a history of ankle injuries)In that case I don't really see a need for OCN to go looking for another Dman.

  3. On an ankle sprain, I agree. I was thinking a break which would be almost 3 months out. If it's going to be any kind of injury then it's good to hear it's a sprain.

    Thanks
