Both Parker Sharp and Jack Petrino were at practice today. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to interview any of them and the camera on my phone is broken for photo proof. I had to leave practice early due to other work commitments.
Although I can confirm that both Sharp and Petrino were on the ice today practicing with their new teammates.
Sharp was centering a line with Gray and Grove on the flanks, it looks like we might see the Dumais, Valiquette, Cardinal line for a few more games until TJ Constant returns.
Sharp will be in the lineup tomorrow night, meanwhile Petrino will have to wait a few days until the appropriate is filed and pushed through with the league because he's an American born.
I didn't get to see them in a real hard skating game situation drills but both seem to bring a certain amount of speed to the lineup and both are still quite young.
We'll see how Sharp does tomorrow.
TJ Constant skated around before practice testing out his ankle. He says he's still a few days away from a return as he doesn't have 100% power.
Tomorrow should be a good game, first home game in what seems like forever with a hot team coming up to visit in Waywayseecappo. Puck drop is at 7. Hopefully I'll see you all at the GLMC, if not I will be doing the game live on CJ1240 with pre-game at 6:45.
Enjoy a beautiful Thursday evening here in The Pas!

I see that Hak the D man that Steinbach was supposed to be getting from the dub got traded to Regina and won't be going to the Pistons. Looks like they may have jumped the gun by trading Robak here, good deal for the Blizz.
ReplyDeleteGood luck tonight boys, hope you can use home ice to your advantage this weekend and get a couple more wins.
