Dean Brockman and company have chosen the 22 players who will represent Canada West at the World Junior A Championships in two weeks time. The team might as well called "Team BCHL"

BCHL: 15 players
AJHL: 4 players
SJHL: 2 players

Having not watched the final tryout I can't judge their choice of players. However, watching the tryouts in Winnipeg it seemed that the selection had been made prior to the camp. Great experience for the the boys who went to the final tryouts, but maybe Hockey Canada could have spent the money more wisely if their selection for the final roster was made prior. No doubt BC has alot of very skilled players but 2 players from MJHL and 2from SJHL really? It's stuff like this that promotes players wanting to play in the BCHL and leave our organization. It's funny that Davis being a northern doesn't speak out or does he? Not alot written about the selection camp but oh well let's worry about us.. Go Blizz Go!
