Had the chance to watch an exhibition game at the Roy H Johnston arena featuring an exhibition game between OCN and The Pas' Novice teams.
It was a great back and forth game with plenty of scoring.
It's always nice to go back and watch minor hockey, when the kids just play to play. I think sometimes we all forget that this is just a game.
Was great to watch kids fall, trip and slide their way across the ice all the while a gigantic smile from ear to ear.
I remember the game being faster at that age for some reason... haha. As a goalie I always hated that one kid on every team who could lift the puck....
Congratulations to both teams on a hard fought game!
Some good hockey players on both sides of the Saskatchewan river!
I think Derek Fontaine should watch a few games for his auto-protects for the 2017 MJHL entry draft!
Enjoy your Sunday!
