In chatting with Waywayseecappo Head Coach before the game he mentioned they just simply didn't get the bounces last night versus Virden. According to Butler it's happened often this season. Wayway lost 2-1 last night and they'll finish off the last of six game in eight day stretch on Saturday in Winkler.

Other teams are starting to play their three game in three night stretches, luckily for OCN they only have one of those left.

An update on the injury to Captain TJ Constant, he told me he'll be in the lineup on Saturday in Swan Valley. Needless to say a huge boost to the OCN lineup.

As for Thomas Ward-Cardinal he's still out for 2-3 weeks, but he's been icing his ankle every day hoping for a quick return.

Other highlights for tonight's game:

* Jack Petrino makes his Blizzard start (Petrino will be wearing Gamblin's former #27)
* Grove looks to get back in the groove after being held off the scoresheet on Sunday in Neepawa, Grove had points in five straight games previous to that.
* Justin McDonald is going for his fourth straight win
* Parker Sharp looks to get a point in three straight games.

Oh and a neat stat from Sunday's game against Neepawa courtesy of Jamie Smalley - Sunday's loss ends a 15 game winning streak for the Blizzard over the Natives.

Puck drop is at seven, if you're contemplating coming down tonight get over here, always a good game between these two.
