Justin McDonald weathered the storm in the first five minutes for the Blizzard.
Then Tyler Grove scored his sixth of the season just seconds shy from being his third shorthanded goal of the year a beautiful breakaway move to beat Michalik
The Blizzard did a great job of getting traffic to the net and disrupting Michalik last night. The Power play clicked again on Gray's marker. Things seem to be coming along in that department. I know that Mollard had talked about getting traffic to the net on the power play and using the point shot for rebounds and tip ins.
The Blizzard defence again got a little lost in their own end at times. Consistency defensively seems to be a problem at home. That will just come with time. Bayer looked very good in his first full game on the second line and picked up the primary assist on Gray's goal.
Making a nice move in the corner then dishing it out front. He's coming along quite well. Grove had another strong game extending his point streak to 9 points in the last 5 games. Henry gets the start tonight in Neepawa as the Blizz look to make it 3-0 weekend.
Enjoy your Sunday. -Brad-
