Well, interesting enough day at the Blizzard office.
Two players decided to leave, Daniel Stagg decided that returning to play Junior B in Lundar is best for him.
While Cody Zulyniak saw where he was most likely to fit on this team (that's on the fringe) and decided to leave as well.
Also, it seems that Thomas Ward-Cardinal will be making a return. He should be in town tomorrow night. Not sure if he will play in the home opener on Friday, but it looks like for now the team and Ward-Cardinal will try to hash things out and make it work.
Will have more tomorrow.
It's unfortunate we didn't really get a look at STAGG. He was sickt he day he was to play against Neepawa. Wish him well, and yes more icetime is better then the media box.
ReplyDeleteCody has always been a kid that tried his best to crack the lineup. And personally thought he should have got more icetime then others. You can't compete against Politics. We should be able to find him a team to play with. I hope that is in the works.
TWC... It will be good to have his experience and skills on our side. He needs to be sat down and explained the facts of life as a TEAM player. What his role is and what the Role of the COACH is! The direction of the Blizz.
Good luck Stagg, Zulyniak and go Blizz go
I've snuck in a clip from the Brandon Sun of the Wheatkings..
ReplyDelete"We’re trying to become a very good practice team," Gylywoychuk said. "We’re trying to stress the point that if we practise well, we practise hard, our pace and tempo in practice is up high, then it’s going to carry over into games. We’re really trying to stress that we’ve got to be the hardest working team in every aspect"
