Blizzard Win 7-0 Over Neepawa

The OCN Blizzard wrapped up the exhibition portion of their season with a 7-0 whopping of the Neepawa Natives.

Here is how the scoring broke down.

1st period

0:18- Matthew Cameron, Assist - TJ Constant,  Wilson Dumais

2nd period

8:21- Eddie Bayer, Assist - TJ Constant, Tyler Santorelli
15:50- Wilson Dumais, Assist - Kolton Baptiste, Darian Cardinal

3rd period

0:17- Wilson Dumais, Assist - Ralph Cochrane, TJ Constant
1:49- Darian Cardinal, Assist - Grant Valiquette, Tyler Grove
12:06- Ralph Cochrane, Unassisted
17:51-  TJ Constant, Assist - Josh Elmes, Kirk Chief

Shots

OCN - 60
Neepawa - 42

Clearly TJ Constant had a good night, as did Wilson Dumais.

I think after a 42 save shutout Alex Henry will be between the pipes on Friday for the season and home opener, I can imagine he will also be given the starters role.

I'll try and grab an interview tomorrow with someone, they'll be getting back in the early morning so I don't think it will be until later.

Blizzard close out the pre-season with a 5-3 record.

I'm looking forward to the home opener on Friday!

  1. A very impressive win no doubt.

    Brad...

Can you put up the potential lines on here from your perspective or in speaking with coach Mollard.

As much as I enjoy Kolton's play and experience on Defense, I would love to see him play forward. For obvious reasons (Loss of Ward-Cardinal) he'll remain on D until that spot is filled.

Kolton is the threat we need when going into the corners. He'll make sure those players keep their heads up. He also has good vision and hands to compliment him in the forward position. We saw it last year in the playoffs.

Time to prepare ourselves for the regular season.

    Go bliz

That's a good idea, I'll try to get something from the coaches today.
