Choose anyone of the above words to describe what Winnipeg did to the Blizzard tonight.
The Blizzard got in the box early but Grove managed to get a short handed goal and put OCN up 1-0 early on. The parade to the box continued and it killed them, plain and simple the difference tonight was penalties.
OCN's PK got beat up technically Winnipeg scored on 4 of 7 chances but their first goal was scored a second after Bruyere's penalty was up and he had just stepped out of the box.
When play was 5 vs 5 as it was for the 2nd and third periods OCN was able to keep up with the Blues even though I'm sure they were beat from killing off 10 minutes of penalties in the first.
Hopefully this game gets the players to realize that no matter how good they are lazy penalties will always cost them.
OCN is in Portage tomorrow night.
